Jeff Kempton – VP Human Resources

Jeff Kempton is a Vice President of Human Resources with Zions Bancorporation in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Kempton’s experience in HR involves managing organizational change, performance and talent management, and working with senior leaders to create strategic objectives that tie to optimal performance of people, teams and divisions. He most enjoys analyzing internal processes, targeted development of key talent, and delivering formal and informal coaching to leaders at all levels of an organization. His responsibilities within HR include: Organizational change, coaching, talent and targeted development, training, human resource operations, external relations, company branding, communication, project management and team building. Mr. Kempton earned his bachelor’s in business management from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University, UT; holds the HR professional certifications of PHR and SHRM-CP; and is a certified trainer in Crucial Conversations, DDI, and Achieve Global Products.
